Jennings Senior Care Hospital is a 16 bed state-of-the-art psychiatric facility located next to Jennings American Legion Hospital. It specializes in caring for seniors ages 50 and over. Our program combines psychotherapy and medication management with the goal of assisting patients in achieving their highest degree of function and independence.

24 hour care directed by a psychiatrist
Individual, group and family therapy
Consulting physician to identify and address physical illnesses
Crosswalk to Jennings American Legion Hospital for medical emergencies
Confidential pre-admission assessments by a Registered Nurse
Local transportation
Criteria for Admission
50 years of age or older.
Inability to function in the activities of daily living.
Requires continuous skilled evaluation and observation.
Poses an actual or potential danger to self or others.
